Our rooms & suites are only 300 meters from the walls of Lucca, close to all the main services including bars and restaurants By staying with us, you can leave your car in our private and free parking and walk around, reaching the major points of interest in minutes. The location is also excellent if you want to visit the nearby cities using public transportations: we are 900 meters from the train station andjust over 1 km from the bus station. And if you still want to travel by car, you will have no parking problems when you return!
Events in Lucca
Lucca is a city rich of cultural events of great attraction. Lucca Comics & Games, at the end of October, is now recognized as the second largest comic book and video game market in the world. In summer, the“Lucca Summer Festival” brings musicians from the international scene to the city, while the “Biennale Cartasia” adorns the streets with wonderful works of paper art. Every third weekend of the month the streets of the historic center come alive with the Antiquarian Market, while the charming location of the Real Collegio often hosts events ranging from local products to publishing.
What to do in Lucca
In addition to events, Lucca stands out for its historic center embraced by the mighty walls called “Mura”. Walking in the sun on the Bastions and getting lost in the charming medieval streets is the best way to get to know the city. Among the main attractions, the Botanical Garden is the closest to our property. But just a few steps to reach the Cathedral of San Martino, San Michele, San Frediano, the central Piazza Napoleone and Piazza dell’Anfiteatro with its particular oval shape. Not to mention the Guinigi Tower with the characteristic trees on top, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of Lucca and the surrounding hills.

Lucca is located in a strategic position for trips out of town in the name of nature or cities. Surrounded by magnificent hills renowned for their vineyards, a few kilometers from the seaside and areas such as the Natural Park of San Rossore and Massaciuccoli or the marble quarries of Carrara, offers experiences for all tastes. In the same way, from Lucca you can easily reach some of the main cities of Tuscany such as Pisa with its leaning tower (25 km), Leghorn with its wonderful coast (50 km) and Florence with its countless attractions (60 km), not to forget, the typical villages and the more rustic landscapes of the neighbors Garfagnana e Lunigiana.
